Q:What is the service hour of SCG Health?
A:SCG Health’s service hours are 9:00a.m. – 9:00p.m. (Monday to Sunday, including public holidays).
Q:How much is the video consultation cost?
A:The consultation fee is fixed at HKD $218, while the medication and delivery fee may be varied. At present, the total cost is around HKD $348-398.
Q:Does SCG Health accept offline payment?
A:At present, SCG Health only accept online payment via credit cards.
Q:Will there be medicine, medical certificate and/ or referral letter?
A: If a medical practitioner renders it necessary and appropriate based on his professional judgement after a consultation, the doctor may issue medical certificates (e.g. sick leave certificate) and/or referral letters and/or prescribe medication for you. The e-copies of medical certificate and/or referral letter will be available on the mobile app immediately after the consultation is completed.
Q:Does SCG Health delivery medications?
A:You will receive your medicines, medical certificate and/or referral letter via delivery arranged by SCG Health. We aim to deliver the medicines to you within four (4) hours after completion of your consultation and payment of medication fee. The e-copy of medical certificate and/or referral letter will be available on the app immediately after consultation is completed. If you require true copies of the medical certificate and/or referral letter, we will mail such documents to you separately.
Q:Why is ID document needed before seeing a doctor?
A:The medical practitioner may request a User to show the medical practitioner via the video consultation the identification document (e.g. his Hong Kong Identity Card) used to book for the video consultation on SCG Health in order for the medical practitioner to verify the identity of the User. If the User fails to do so, the medical practitioner may in his discretion reject the User for the video consultation.
Q:Is SCG Health suitable for all people?
A:Please note that pregnant ladies and children under 12 years of age may not book to see a doctor on SCG Health. If you have any symptoms which may require immediate medical attention, SCG Health is not suitable for you. At the time of the video consultation, the user must physically be in Hong Kong.
